Future car plans?

I've started thinking I'm a bit wierd.

Was at work today talking to a mate about my plans now I've just sold my car and found myself reciting my plans for cars for the next 8 years. It goes;

- VX220 (pref Turbo) within 3 months now my car has gone - keep for about 2 years.
- Then we (me and wifey) have a little'un so we get a Vauxhall Zafira to keep buggy in the boot and little Jonboy safely out of harms way in the back. Keep this for about 3 years.
- Then it's onto an A4 Estate coz the kid has grown up a bit so I can get back to my true love, playing drums, and clearly gonna need a way of transporting the kit as well as what will now be an annoying little gob-ste of a child - this stays for about 3 years.
- By this time, I'm gonna be higher up in my company and so will be looking at a company car so don't need to plan any further as it'll be decided for me.

Obviously this may change depending on circumstances (?) but it'll be somewhere along these lines.

So, does it make me wierd that I've got my next 8 years of cars sorted out in my head? Or is this pretty normal for other PHer's?

The wierd bit is the desire for a Zafira. I can't get my head around that at all.

Don't know why, but I really like them - probaby a VXR though!!

Scrap this entire thread. My missus has just come home with the 'sold' car with no bumper and a massive dent in the bonnet after going up the back of someone on the motorway - luckily she is fine. For now.

Looks like the VX is off the cards for a while now though. And if my mood carries on like this, no baby Jonboy's either.
