What causes it (and don't say ruts in the road). Is it to do with sidewall stiffness or shape or somehting else?
Reason I ask is, I have just fitted some new tyres to the rear of 355 and have noticed it sometimes squirms a little now under hard acceleration. Wondering if I am getting tramlining from the rear of the car.
Suppose it may also be down to needing new rear suspension bushes, although I had them checked last week and apparently all OK...

Tyre construction is a big factor as well as your aligment and camber settings. I would experiment with tyre pressures and make sure that the basics are ok first. I would imagine that a 355 running the fairly large tyres that it does would be quite sensitive?Reason I ask is, I have just fitted some new tyres to the rear of 355 and have noticed it sometimes squirms a little now under hard acceleration. In my experience it would appear to be down to height of sidewalls (and I bet stiffness).
My old car had 30 profile tyres and tramlined like a b
d on motorway lane 1 ruts. Similarly previous cars with similar height sidewalls.
Current car has 30 profile tyres but they are much wider and as a result the sidewalls are higher - car doesn't tramline.

Admittedly, I've only done about 100 miles on the new rubber so they may still be slightly slippery. Th rears are 275/40/18 so side walls aren't stupidly small, although they are definitely more vertical than the old Bridgestones.
I'll drive it some more, check pressures and see what happens.
