The company car is coming up for change soon, and I am going to have yet another Skoda Fabia vRS. No need to focus on why? or what else I could have, due to various criteria, this is what I'm having.

But, I can't decide on which way to go with it, so I open it up to the PH floor.

Shiny: The 5dr hatch version, in Rallye Green, with a Black roof, just like this...

But it's trying too hard, it's just a Skoda Fabia, although I do like the Kermit colour scheme.

Or Dull: A plain Jane estate version in say White or Silver...

The appeal of this is stealth, 225bhp (if mapped whistle) in what looks like, quite frankly, a stty Fabia estate hehe

I voted shiny that "kermit green" colour scheme is really nice!, there is nothing wrong with stealthy cars but that silver one is just boring.

Silver one almost looks Korean in it's blandness, go for the mean lean green machine!

I've been looking at these myself in the last couple of weeks.

Estate in Race Blue...and ideally with the optional Gigaro black alloy wheels.

vRS for me. Good cars by all accounts. Lost some of the invention and individuality of the previous generation Fabia, but a solid little car. Gets my vote.

Have you considered the vRS estate though?

Sorry - thought the alternative was a standard estate - not the vRS version.

I'll get my coat and move away silently! whistle

I'd go for the hatch - not that my opinion will have any weight now!

I say the top one, but not in a manky colour. Shame the new vRS has lost the diesel engine, though. That was a quirk on the last one and I liked it because of it.

But on the plus side, it's now got a 180bhp 1.4TSI petrol, a 7 speed DSG and an LSD, and similar fuel consumption/lower emissions than the old TDI.

Prefer the shiny, but then I was thinking if you could get the estate in that green with dark roof and privacy glass it might actually look pretty tidy.

ETA - beaten to it! smile

Same colour range on both the hatch and the estate, but white/black roof options only available on the hatch.

So many really good body/roof/wheel colour combos are available, it's hard to choose.

Thanks for your input folks, I'm going to have to give this some more thought.
