I've just come back from a few days in Paris and while walking up the Champs Elysee I was shocked to see this:

A Jaguar XJR Shooting Brake! I saw it again outside the Louvre on Friday afternoon. I imagine these must be very rare and especially odd to see it on British plates, but in Paris and also LHD. Does anyone know anything about them at all?

I'm so glad somebody has done this. I would love to have an XJR shooting brake!

However, unfortunatly the lines echo the Avon Series II conversion:

Rather than Jaguars own concept with the XJ40:

Im a big fan of shooting brakes and estates based on sports/luxury cars, but this one does look a bit crap! It looks more like a shortened hurse!

Why do I get the impression plenty of posters here get a semi-on using the term 'shooting brake'?

It's a Shooting Brake, not an estate wink

I got excited seeing this title, and I'm sure it's a great car. Shame it looks so crap.
