For wanting a bar stool racer? If you dont know what i mean, then if you look them up on youtube, there are plenty of videos. Basically, it looks like a very short go kart chassis with a small four stroke engine, a bar stool(funnily enough) as your seat and mountain bike type handle bars for the controls to go on. I may very well be mad, but they look like immense fun to me
I am seriously thinking about it for my mid life crisis that i apparently have to have. Have you seen the video on you tube of the american firm that makes one with a hemi v8 as power? That looks really dangerous, oh and so it seems they have made one with a jet engine too. I really could kill myself on that
No idea, but an american website will sell you complete build plans, a lot with photos a bit like a haynes, for $9.95, then its just a case of tracking down the right parts, which of course you can get from the good old us of a. Havent got the space in the garage right now, but in about 3 months some major stuff in the way will be going, and i can start collecting the necessary parts
nah, the v8 version looks a bit tame for me, i think the 2 seater jet engined one will do me nicely. Seriously though, i think most have the engine thats found in go-karts at those arrive and drive places, or something along those lines. Anyway it should be great fun finding out how many times a year i can visit a&e

I see your ordinary motorised bar stool and raise you a V8 motorised bar stool:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=clz-Cyo7Z90&fea...
Chris if you look in the related videos part, you will find the hoss fly. Its a 2 seater jet engined bar stool racer, now that really looks like fun. I could bring it to a ph meet and offer to give people a ride(oo er missus)Do you reckon there would be many takers?
Oh and mat13, i think the best idea would be to rig up some kind of brake system for when you are starting the thing, either that or use a kerb
