Audi RS5 does the speedo indicate it's habitat
Discussion
I bagged this pic of the dash & speedo of the new RS5. Does anyone else this the 30 mph sector does not show up well (& positioned badly) for you can get done for doing 34mph in a 30 zone. Digital readout is available but has to be selected each time. or do they expect this car's habitat will be the autobahns.

I have a Mk6 Golf 2.0 TDi SE hire car this week (lovely thing, it really is), but the speedo annoys me.
It goes round in equal spaced increments of:
0, 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, 100, 120, 140
So when you're joining the motorway at 70ish, it's very hard to just glance at your speed as you accelerate to 90, as the increment is now 20mph instead of 10.
Not a major biggie, but it seems a little odd. Opposite of the RS5 though i suppose.

VW claim its to make the more practical speeds bigger and clearer in the speedo sweep, in the UK it should work well. When in Germany you only need a 'rough' reading at typical autobahn speeds? It goes round in equal spaced increments of:

You can clearly see in the pictures above the vastly differing panel gaps between the bit of trim around the steering column, and the neighbouring interior panels. Gap on the left is massive, one on the right is tiny.Sloppy, shoddy, third rate effort. Clearly it's just been casually hurled together with gay abandon by a bunch of half-drunk cowboys on minimum wage.
Utterly devoid of "imagine" as well.

Clearly they are. If they hadn't cut the corner off the speedo, we wouldn't be in this mess.

He's even got a catchphrase established, I'm been on here donkeys and no catchphrase yet...."imagine"
