I've been using the one from CBS: http://www.cbsonline.co.uk/brake-pipe-flaring-kit-...

Has worked well for the few I've had to do, though I'm sure someone will be along soon to tell you that you need to spend a gazillion quid on a professional one smile

I bought a cheap one for about £8.50 off ebay to do my rear brake lines. It done the job ok but I would have spent a bit more second time round and get a branded one as the prongs on the tool kept opening up, had to squash it in the vice a couple of times. As its a tool I probably wont use for another 5 years or so I cant moan really.

I'd just get them made up at an old fashioned auto parts shop. Unless you're planning on using it a lot. After all you'll probably have to buy a reasonable amount of copper line to start with.

All depends on how much you'll use it. I've got a Sykes Pickavant Flaremaster and it's a great tool thats done me well for years of restoring cars. Like Redstu said though, if you're only needing it for a couple of lines then get the lines made up at your friendly independant local factors.
