Hi Guys.

Just drove past a red NSX in the village where I live with an elderly woman at the wheel, she must have been late 70's at least, made me smile! Dont get me wrong I've got nothing against it, I think it's great, but does anybody else think it just looks wrong/funny? There's also a bright green gallardo regularly driven through my village driven by an elderly guy who closely resembles Einstein, and I also often see a Renaultsport Clio 197 with an elderly couple at the help. Good on them for having some nice wheels really. I often wonder though if some people just go into a Renault, Honda etc. garage and just ask for the best thing they have!

I know what you mean. There is a woman in the village I live in, who is around 60-70 that drives an RS4 estate.

I love hearing it burble past cloud9

Haha, I often think that. Especially women in CTRs with their noses 3" from the windscreen and breaking heavily for every corner. I can just imagine them asking the salesman, 'what's the top model?'.

As for old people in supercars, the oldest I've ever seen is maybe early 50s.

There's a old chap up here (who looks like the brother of Captain Birdseye) who just bought himself a post-box red R8 V10 convertible; seen it quite a few times in Aberdeen, including last Friday night at 11pm with the roof down giving it some beans with his good lady next to him thumbup

That's quite cool.

I hope I have a supercar when I'm old!

There is an old codger in our village with one of the last DB7's, totally stunning car.
He likes to give it big beans on occasions. Fantastic.

He must be in his late 70's.

Hopefully we will all be old one day and I'd like to think my passion for cars will still be with me then. I might even be able to afford a super car when I'm 70! biggrin

Saw a group of pensioners in a Mazda 3 MPS, thought maybe they knew what it was but they then pulled onto a NSL road and did the slowest pull away I think I've seen. Doubt the turbo has even been used!

It's funnier seeing an old couple in a proper boy racer/Max Power hatchback.

Sometime I wonder if they knew it was modified when they bought it.

Saw a triplet of lod biddies getting out of an old W124 AMG E36 coupe the other day. Very tidy. Had to comment to her that it was a lovely looking motor. Her resposne...

Some OAP was doing 15 in a 30 just now. Then they braked down to 5 mph, to drive round a parked car.

Earrrg.

Liking that!

Not an exotic, but I saw a couple in their 60s at a Goodwood track day last year, in a breadvan Civic Type R on sticky tyres. thumbup
