I currently have 2008 1.2 Fiat 500, whilst I love the look of the car & it's interior I long for something a little more fun.

So I've been looking at Panda 100HPs, these little cars appear to be great fun, handle better than the 500 & are quite cheap with ex-demo cars being under £8000, which is about what my 500 is worth.

I just wonder if I'm slightly mad for thinking of swapping the 500 for a Panda?

Depreciation will be far higher. we bought our 500 because of the glacial depreciation, not the glacial accellerations. sp.

I think the 500 bubble will burst once all those BSM hire cars hit the used car forecourts.

I own a 100hp. It's an excellent drive, however, I'd suggest that an early test drive is needed. The ride isn't for everyone. It's the most fun I've had in a "normal" road car.

07 plate cars go for under £6k, but they were cheap to buy new or demo (about £8k).

The ride is quite a bit better than my 500 which is awfully choppy.

I'd have bought the 100HP over the 500 in the first place!

Might be worth looking at the 100hp 500 as well.

I picked up a brand new 1.4 16v 500 on Tuesday as the new daily driver. Cracking little thing.

They've improved the 500's rear suspension (and therefore ride) in the 2010 cars, borrowing the set-up from the Ford Ka.

I test drove a 100bhp Panda as well, but found the ride too firm for my liking - I wanted a comfortable, compact runabout for London.
