Old motorbike in Rome for sale?

[hewlett]

There's no way anyone's going to have this but...I have a friend who lives in Oz, wants to tour Europe for a few months and has landed in Rome and wants to purchase a motorbike. He doesn't speak the language and is having trouble sorting a bike out..if you have family in Rome and an old bike you can sell or loan to this guy (Andy), please let me know and I'll email him. He's assuming he'll have to come to the UK to get a bike but hey, thought it was worth a post here

Oooh, I wonder where this thread will end up? Holidays and Travel or Bikers?

I would have thought that it's random and non specific enough to earn a place in The Lounge?
