I just checked through all my Peugeot research material, and the 2.7 HDI always did 226/225 g/km co2 (Peugeot's own sources quote both). The replacement 3.0 V6 does much better at 189, but the 2.7 is only ever quoted at 225/226. The blurb for the introduction of the 3.0 says "189 versus the predecessor's 225", so I guess that's final. HTH.

The co2 is derived from the fuel consumption figures and they are identical. Most likely just a computational/rounding thing rather than an actual difference, in my opinion.

Guess every ph could do tonks a favour here if they see a real example look at the road tax to see what it physically was. That said I have only ever seen one and that was a neighbour quite a few years ago and that was lhd with frog plates.

Rare indeed

I used to own a 407 coupe (petrol). Had it from new (with a very large discount before anyone asks) for three years and it was without doubt, the best car I've owned. Nothing went wrong. Nil, nada, zilch. It had electric everything, the best stereo I've ever had in a car and it was supremely comfortable. The only reason it went was a growing family, otherwise it would be still sat on the drive.

Your best bet is to go straight into your nearest Pug dealer and ask them to find you one from ex-company management stock in coventry - basically anything on a K area plate (KU, KV etc.)

The 'nearly new' system used to be crammed full of these when I worked at a Pug stealership - lots of demand for them from the company bigwigs but not a massive seller. Shame, because they are cracking luxury cruisers once someone else has paid the depreciation driving

Is that tax the first year from new though? I paid £400-odd first year on the 09 Mondeo but £210 now. Can't remember what that stuffs out nor care really.

If you look at a rough one I'd avoid it. Mine was like new when it was sold. While I looked after it, it wasn't overly pampered and they wear well.
