Swiss, I think - the Hai has a reputation for being a monster.

Yup, Monteverdi are Swiss; don't think they have made any new cars for years. The Monteverdi car museum is just around the corner from my house smile

Some pretty good looking GTs from the 70's, usually powered by a large American V8 (like the one you posted), plus the Hai (= Shark) which was more of a 70s supercar offering, with a 7 litre V8 engine and was a favourite in Top Trumps). They also made an off roader and of course, some Formula 1 cars back in the 80s/90s...

Tiny handful of cars made, but yes, stunning machines. Bit of an international effort as far as I recall - Aston Martin DBS V8 chassis, Frua body, Chrysler engine, made in Switzerland, price tag from the future.

Beautiful things though. I do wonder whether some of these marques could be brought back with tiny production runs? Maybe someone could make over a Chrysler 300C?

Pegaso, for example, is owned by Iveco, and therefore Fiat. Would it be possible, one wonders, to do a modern version of this:

based on a Ferrari or a Maserati, in single-figure numbers lovingly made by some Italian Carrozziera and priced at silly-money depending on whatever people are willing to pay for it. And supercharge it, following Pegaso tradition.
