Now I know certain car programs do not find favour with Pistonheaders...but I am actually enjoying the new series of TG. I think they have listened to some of the comments, and cut some of the carp. I have found myself skipping some bits of the show while I watch it on iPlayer such as the chat guests, and that rubbish section with the wedding in the latest episode, but I thoroughly enjoyed the noise that Maser made. Mmmmmm.

Also, Fifth Gear ain't bad in my book. It entertains me, and I love Vicki's cheeky grin...The BMW 5 series review of the most recent episode was jokes.

Anyone else agree? Or will I get flamed :P

Top Gear has certainly improved from it's nadir of the past few seasons. I might even start watching it again after the recent m3/190cosworth/SierraCosworth episode.

I find 5th gear hard work.

It keeps reinventing itself because they are looking for that magic formula.

One show that should be good but is just plain awful is used car roadshow.

Not having Sky TV at home, recently when house sitting I watched some good programmes ... one of which was Wheeler Dealers, something I have seen on ITV4 previously but it seems that it is rarely on and at differing times! Does anyone know when it is usually on? Also TG and 5thG are still great in my eyes....yeah the TG trio do stupid stuff but the special ephisodes i.e. Bolivia, are amazing in my opinion and make up for the slightly, well, less great moments!

I'm a big fan of Fifth Gear. Two of the presenters have an opinion that I really respect, which helps!! Their features are also good - it's a decent car programme for people that love cars.

Top Gear's ok - I normally record it and watch the bits that are good. This series seems better than the last yes
