You know the sort , pull in to use their mobile or read a map and seem to park in the most dangerous of places. Have you ever thought they should be punished in the same way they would have if they'd have just continued driving ?

Read this ( can't see any other obvious thread on the subject )

I suppose you'd be real lucky to guess what the title was going to be.

Or better still pull up at a junction and see one of their ethnic buddies who is crossing the road and they stop, blocking the entire road while they have a chat.

This has happened to me half a dozen times in the past week mad

I scanned through the 'What's new' posts and couldn't spot it. My eyes must be failing me , if I squint I'm sure I can see the word bell in the middle of your user name hehe

This has happened to me also. The car I was driving behind and the car heading towards me both stopped, and both the drivers got out and hugged each other before chatting away for about 30 seconds.

Then I threw 2 cans of Red bull.

Yip - don't you just find the one's who straddle completely across a junction when you want to turn into the street soooo amusing. You even watch them go spazzmental behind the wheel should you dare flash or use the horn to let them know you're there & want them to move out of your lane.

Although aren't you forgetting they have the magical invincibility powers of the hazard lights - soon as they are flashing then nothing can touch them and they can park anywhere without fear. Also seems to works with double yellow lines, disabled car parking etc.

On Sunday I saw a woman stopping round a fast corner on a main country road. No way of seeing around the corner that she'd pulled up. Crazy place to stop. 60 limit and a corner that can be taken a lot faster safely, unless there's a car stopped there.

Hopefully the people coming along the straight before that understood why I was flashing my lights and indicating to them to slow down....

I see it quite a bit in my area on the country lanes. Sheer madness as they often don't even pull in or even indicate, so your left guessing what the hell they're up to!

IMO it has gotten worse since the '3pts for using your phone' law was introduced.

I feel as though I am going to be jumped upon for this but....

Shouldn't you only go as fast as you can see? So if someone is stopped around a blind bend then you wont be going so fast you wouln't be able to stop in time. It's how I drive anyway.

Phew, I thought I was going to be confronted with an angry "how ridiculous of you to expect people to drive at an appropriate speed!" response!

To be honest, I was glad you posted first so that I could stand behind you and say "Yeah, you lot!"
