Due to a system change at Volkswagen many dealers / groups have secured new vehicles that have had to be registered, I know of one group that has secured over 400 cars including Tiguans, Sciroccos, Polos etc etc

Obviuosly they are effectively used (ableit with zero mileage) but there are some potentially big savings, 4k off some Tiguans, four figure sums off Sciroccos etc

Thought it might be useful to some of you

The wife works for a VW main dealer and has said that this is little more than a rumour to drive footfall!

Granted, her dealership might not be one of the lucky ones so might not know the whole truth!

4k off what price though?
When Vauxhall decided to offload the VXR8 - they reduced the price from £35k to 24k - a proper bargain.

Big savings on slow moving, low volume niche or end of line models maybe, but I'd expect 'savings' on current and popular models to be minimal. The banner of 'big savings across the range' is a marketing bid to get people through the door and into the clutches of smarmy people who wear shiny suits...

It is true they are know as pack cars, from what I remember you had to be up bright and early on a Wednesday to buy them on the vw intranet. Some massive savings.

I just find most of the modern VW's a little bit soulless, perhaps it's just the lack of 'the imagine'...

Shame I just found this thread. I'm seriously looking at a nearly new Golf Mk6 and going to test drive one tommorow at the local dealership.
