Sure you didn't reach for the whisky bottle instead of the mouthwash this morning?

ETA: Just seen the engine. Pass me the bottle, I think I'm going to need it too.

I like the idea in some ways but that surely ought to have better wheels and tyres than that to cope with the power and it looks for all the world like it is sat on stock suspension with the ride height, arch gap etc...

hehe

I've always liked the idea of something like that. A car which from the outside looks like nothing but would leave your modified Saxo in a cloud of dust!

Seems a bit fishy to me. The engine alone is worth 3.5k without the drivetrain and body.

That's bks. Surely.

No one would fit that motor and be able to keep the stock wheels, crap brakes, interior....

Surely......?

I dont beleive it and wont til he posts a motor pic with the bonnet open and rest of the car on view!!

I thought i'd have a look on the DVLA online checking thingymebob, I thought the reg looked like;

A986 GFN or PN, but it can't match the car.

Anymore for anymore?

At first glance, looks like great fun.

After a few seconds thought, looks like a recipe for certain death!

Why is the picture of the engine not when fitted to the stbox? Believe it when i see proper pics, utter bullst me thinks. (& having driven a m8's standard Metro many moons ago a fking death trap!).

GFK is my bet.

That thing, (if its been built!) is awesome and the man who did it deserves promoting to Monarch.

Enormous bhp and little narrow wheels hiding stock brakes and on regular tyres?

If it's real then it's probably undriveable. Wheelspin in any gear at any time just twitch your right foot.

Although if it's as light as the original it may stop OK. May stop OK. If it's geared to go faster than stock then braking from speed may be something of a problem...

With that ride height, uprating the brakes would end up with comic up and over youtube moments wouldnt it?
