Basically, thinking of buying an 07 plate clip campus, and just wanted some feedback from people that may have experienced the car. I'm not a massive clio fan, but this seems like a really good deal.

The car is in good tidy condition, has air con, immobiliser, ABS, central locking, power steering, as you would all probably expect.

I was able to get it for £3,250 (which i think is a great deal), but do you think it should maintain this value in a years time? (which is probably when i'll sell it).

So any feedback anyone could provide about it would be brilliant, or any small litre hatchback alternatives.

Thanks

My newer shape 07 Clio was only worth a bit more than that when I handed it back to Renault a year or so ago; TBH I think for that budget you could do better, including either an early Twingo or the 1.2 turbo version of the newer shape clio - resale on both will be a little bit higher than the campus, which essentially has the majority of it's roots in a car that first came out in '97.

Edit - such as this, although having checked the classifieds I don't think you'll get a new shape Twingo for your budget.
