I have just passed my driving test after the 5th time, at the grand old age of 41. I have a reasonable amount of capital to procure a nice shiny, sporty car, now being a mere woman have absaloutely no idea of what to buy.
I was of a mind set that I should buy a big sexy BM, but have decided agaist it, one because I can't really park to well, and two because I am limited in my car choice because I can only drive an automatic.

Any idea's, welcome, please help a desperate want to be driving person!

Look past the image. It's one of the finest drivers cars money can buy. What's not to like?

Or is image more important than substance?

I call wind up on this 'poster'.

Substandard attempt at trolling, I've seen much, much better.

Image is of course a driving factor, excuse the pun, substance also plays a part, but in truth, performance + image is the perfect formula.

I do believe the Audi suggestion meets my criteria.

Passed 5th attempt, can't park, Little experience.

Start with something sensible for the first year, go for the shiny stuff when you have an idea of how much shininess you need.

No need to suggest wind up, helpful suggestions most welcome.

The point of a forum such as this, I would imagine is the place to discuss?

The perfect car, shirley, for a mature lady with 4 tests worth of driving experience under their belt and and auto only license.

Anything with old school big bumpers would be good . A 740 Volvo for example, they don't have parking sensors you just stop when you feel the bump

I suspect the above examples do not come in an automatic version, very humerous though.
