Hi there

Mods - If this is in the wrong place please feel free to move it.......

Helping a mate out. he has a motorhome based on a Fiat Ducato. Central locking is not working. Being a MH it is made up of a variety of bits. The centaral locking unit which I have found is a SIKURA unit. Basically the thing clicks on the remote, the lights flash but no locking occurs.
Not altogether sure how these systems work. Found a diagram in t'internet form Autoloc.com which shows two actuators which are five wure and two which are two wire. I take it these are front and back. Two wires ok, but what do the five wires do???

Any help appreciated

Phil

5 wire motors are master motors, 2 wire are slave motors.

5 wire motors contain switches to activate and deactive the CDL system.

2 wire motors just lock/unlock the one door to which the motor is fitted to.
