Anyone else think that when they see a really nice car in a terrible colour that's it's a bit of a waste, spoils the whole look and image of the car, for example I say a bentley continental GTC yesterday in the most horrid light yellow colour, can't really describe is but it was a very light wishy washy yellow and ruined the whole look of the car as made it look stupid. Anyone else think the same or are you all not fussed when it comes to car colour?

Most of this fad of white cars. They mostly look crap and just a white spray can over the rear side windows away from looking like a van.

Some are passable in proper sports and super cars (not I'm NOT talking about hot-hatches, coupe's etc. Honda get away with it on their type-r's for historical reasons but that's about it).

That said, in a year or so when white is OUT of fashion (it WILL go out of fashion, anything that comes IN to fashion does) there will be a lot of hard to sell white cars, this will be good for bargain picking for those that can put up with a white car or want to re-spray or wrap them.

Phoenix Yellow?

For some reason, I don't mind it too much. There are some in this colour with light blue interior! Now that's a hideous combination.

Orange Ford Mustang (new one) - stands out too much. Forgiveable on Lamborghini.

I liked this on the M3, and also the really bright blue. Made it distinctive and suited it!.

Mini 1275GTs, Dolomite Sprints, Stags and MGs in that really nasty dogdirt brown.

I think the correct name was Russet Brown.

But most people called it Irish Racing Brown.

Audi R8, Nissan GTR, V8 Vantage. All seem to be a bit too tame IMO

Could not agree more, it's a ghastly colour.
I can't imagine why anyone would ever want a car in that colour!

No doubt some people are going to post pictures of Arab hyper-cars in random sickly colours sooner or later. Though I have to say, I do enjoy looking at what crazy taste-less combinations they can come up with. I don't even dislike a lot of what they come up with, it's just a "rather you than me" kinda thing.

That awful green colour they're using on the new clio 200 sport. Absolutely hideous. Actually the looks of the clio took a big step backwards from the 197 sadly anyway.

I actually like every rubbish colour mentioned so far including russet.

Plus seemingly every 80's German car I buy tends to be bloody Zermatt silver (JRG).

Thing is now "rubbish" colours are so rare with most people buying red/silver/black that they stand out and look a bit different. I like that.
