Car Hire Help.

Could anyone here suggest a reasonable car hire firm.

Need a 7seater, for 1day. Mon 19th July. (10am to 8pm)

Driver will be 52yr old.

Enterprise charging £109 a day! (and because the branch will close at 6pm, and need the car til 8pm), thats 2day hire at £260!

Any help apprecieted.

Well 2 x 109 = 218, not 260, so I have saved you 42 already

Tell them they are 24hrs in a day pick up at 10am on the 19th return before 10am on the 20th they are trying it on.

Where are you picking it up from?

Hired a people carrier last year for the day & ended up picking it up from Manchester Airport as the opening hours were longer. Think it set me back about £80 for the day.

Booked it from www.carhire3000.com although I presume they work as a broker as the car came from Alamo.

Yh thats what I was thinking, but the quote was £260 and some pennies. Tried quite a few but to no avail. I think its because its too short a notice for some companies.

We had 2 cars in household, and both were in accidents very recently (non fault). Now theres 6 of us wanting to go to my sisters graduation.

Never hired a car before apart from a friend's friend. (which wsn't entirely legal TBH) It may work out cheaper just hiring 2 small hatchbacks rather than the MPV.

But will defo try carhire3000. Thanks for the help people.
