Looks like i need to replace the tyres on my cherokee soon. I dont spend any significant time off road, just the occasional muddy track.

any recommendations? cooper discoverers came up on a quick search on black circles, runway enduros are already on the car - in the winter they didnt seem to offer great grip under braking so something with slightly better performance in this area might be good,

All our work Shoguns use Goodyear Wrangler HP. They're pretty good on road, and are good enough for the odd trip up a muddy track. Some of them are seeing over 40k on a set, too.

Seem to get good enough reviews too:

I'm currently using Bridgestone D689 Dueler HT's on my Shogun.

Only tyres i've ever had on this Shogun, but lots lots better than the budget crap that was on our old Shogun. Haven't really done any offroading with them, like yourself, the odd mucky track, no bother, and i tow with it.
good call, I think we had those on a rav4 a few years ago

No-one ever got fired for fitting BF Goodrich All-Terrains!

Expensive, but they last forever and provide a good compromise for roads and occasional off-road work.
