Audi A1 - Anyone seen one?

I believe they're hitting the showrooms around November time, but I wondered if anyone has seen one or driven one so can offer an opinion beyond me picking up Autocar and the likes?

I went in one in Barcelona in March. I wasn't personally that keen, but the interior seemed great quality for a supermini and the other half loved it.

they had them in "area A1" at le mans this year, i was very impressed, had a good long chat about the marque with the technician there

The ones on the Audi display at Le Mans looked great. I had a Mk1 3dr A3, and the A1 is a really nice modern take on the size and shape.

All i could think about was how much better off you would be by buying the equievelent VW/Seat/Skoda

I wasnt impressed. The one i saw was supposed to be specced up and i was told it was 22000. But to me it looked very basic, didnt even have leather and was a 1.2! You can get a brand new A3 that does actually have decent spec for less from the main dealers!
