I think they should show, at the end of the news (or, even better, in the ad breaks on things like Big Brother and EastEnders) some pictures of severe accidents, with all the attendant gore and mess.

S."Today's incident was J22 on the M25 clockwise. Stopped for a shunt and debris clearance from across all 3 lanes. Opposite carriageway all-but-stopped by nothing more than ghoulish tossers.
