Did Someone try To Steal My Wheels?

I needed to get my front left wheel off to get to my brake.

I found the site below. I don't know what could have caused it but looks like some1 has put something over it and smashed it, breaking the locknut.

The quickly drawn arrows show cracks in the lock nut and i included a pic of a functioning nut.

My guess could be way off, but thought i'd ask if anyones seen this before? All the other 3 nuts are fine.

Looks like someones had a go at it, My ninja stopped running and after fault finding for 6 hours found someone had jammed a screw drivering the ignition barrel. It hadn't damaged the lock but broke a resister inside.

I got the nut off eventually. Need to get myself a new lock nut. Maybe get non standard ones if they're worth the money.

Anyone have any experience of them to give advice?
