World's Fastest 3D Car Film... in 2D
Discussion
Ex-F1 driver David Coulthard takes the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG to 162 mph in 3D on a closed section of the Isle of Man TT course. It is the fastest 3D has ever been shot on land. This is a 2D preview of the full 3D film, Manx Meister (an In© Production. www.incword.com) to be released in August. This is the sequel to Fast and the Famous featuring Jay Leno.

Does he touch the wall at 2:25m?
Im sure he scrapes it
Hedge. Im sure he scrapes it

Not a bad vid. BUT no need for the "dramatic" music to be so loud. And the audio is out of sync as he's braking and the revs are still soaring. Top Gear (when they aren't doing frivilous s
te) can do these tracking/on board vids so much better though.Papa Hotel said:
Well that left me a little bored. I expected something that maybe conveyed the notion of speed... something like a superbike being ridden by a nutter in a gimpsuit. Clinical, that's what that was, cold and clinical. Or just dull.
Don't forget that you're not seeing the full effect there - the film was shot in 3D and I imagine it will be significantly more impressive when viewed in that medium.Edited by youngsyr on Saturday 24th July 21:44
