Evening all,

The search isn't working at the moment, so just wondering if anyone has done a PalmerSport event this year, specifically the evening session?
I know a lot of people did the event that PH organised, but just wanted to know thoughts of it.

Worth the money? Best car? What is the karting track like? etc

Thanks

I can't answer your questions on value for money, because that depends on how you value your money.

From an insiders point of view, the Kart track is ok. It is 99% flat out with just a quick lift as you go into the bottom corner. Fun, but not really a challenge.

Not really relevant due to the elapsed time but I did a PalmerSport day about 8 years ago and had a fantastic time. Screw the carts, it's the caterhams and lotus you should be looking forward too!

I think they are quite corporate so you'll get lots of knobbers with driving shoes and overalls that drive like tits and I think the price reflects that fact.

Saying that, don't forget to ask VBH brother (if he's still there) if she likes it up the oxo, he's quite happy to chat about it. thumbup

I didn't realise there was an evening session?

I did the day session (with the rest of the PH team in fact) and it was absolutely excellent. Expensive on paper, but when you are there the value is plain to see.

I'm heading over to London with the family next week, and I've decided to do the full day session at Palmersport when I'm over.

I'll get back to you next week.. wink

I did a full day there too recently. First time ever and was a bit nervous and worried if it was worth the extra money. LOVED it! Really pleased I went and listened to my mates advice. A really great day!!

All of the execs at my Dads work got invited to do the Palmer Sport event for a full day, he said he absolutely loved it. Favourite car was the Caterham, he said it was so much fun and felt like a little go kart! Keeps going on about how I must do a Palmer Sport day when I can drive...
