engine fault with focus 1.8td diesel

i have a 51 plate focus 1.8td, everytime i turn left the engine lose's power and then bursts back into life again, when this happen's 3 lights come on the dash, 1 engine management, 2 heater plugs, 3 is a round circle with a line in it. they come on and off within 2 seconds. any help would be much appreciated.

It's clearly the Coalition Edition. Yours is equipped with the Cameron control unit that stops things dead whenever a manoevre to the left is suggested.

Check for any chaffing on the peice of loom that goes over the rocker cover. Also make sure there are no wire being rubbed around the large black multiplug just further back from that. Its bolted to the top of the inlet manifold.

How is the oil level? I'm thinking maybe it is low and the oil pickup is running out of liquid when cornering, causing a low oil pressure light to put the ecu into limp home mode. Does it happen when stationary and you turn the wheel?

oil is ok. it does not happen when stationary
