Identifying a Ferrari

Hi all,
I'm not really a fan of Ferraris, in fact none of their modern stuff has ever really excited me. I saw something the other day though which looked and sounded f***ing awesome. I'm trying to find out what it was (could have been a replica), but I so far haven't been able to see anything on the net like it...

It was bright red and covered in race sponsor logos, had 12 carb inlets sticking out behind the drivers head, was f***ing loud, and sounded like it had some serious power. I was just wondering if there might be a sort of Ferrari racing car picture timeline anywhere so I could try and identify what I saw just out of interest really. It looked to be in absolutely mint condition so it must have either been a replica, or a very expensive road legal racecar. Sounded pretty authentic from where I was standing though!
