Just seen a brilliant delboy robin reliant in town - complete with "rust" and blow up dolls in rear!

Have to say it put a big smile on my face and got most peoples attention.

Was just wondering if anybody on here owns a replica (or rear) famous car?

Always wanted to own an A-team van or a K.I.T.T and someday I will...

A mate of mine owns a DeLorean he's planning to turn into a Back To The Future replica. I've always been tempted to track down a cheap Pontiac Firebird, spray it black, at black-centred BBS lattice-spoke alloys and a 'tracer light' on the front - KITT must be the cheapest 'star car' to replicate.

I saw a picture - possibly on here - a while back, someone had modded an RS4 to look like the bad police car from the Transformers film smile

Answer to a slightly different question, but my mate owns an early 911SC that belonged to Eric Idle.

Pssst! It's a Reliant Robin. You wouldn't say Escort Ford, would you?

The thing about those Del Boy copies is that there are dozens around. Also, why spray fake 'rust' onto a plastic car?

Agree they are too common to be special. But still put a smile on your face.

Id love a KITT replica. There was one on Ebay with all the monitors in it. Even had all the buttons like Turbo Boost. It looked cloud9

Is it wrong that id love a KITT replica that could talk ?

Psst!

Correcting the (oft made) mistake of calling them 'back to front', not the fact that the van isn't a Robin.

I'm sure you could import the voice chip from a Maestro or a Quattro into it.

Was really tempted to spend a wad of cash on a 1968 Bullitt replica fastback Mustang a couple of summers back. It's still an itch that needs scratching if I'm honest.

If I get a black '68 Charger 440R/T, do you want to play?

(lets stay away from petrol stations though eh)

I remember seeing some years ago now the DeLorean that was used in the UK to promote the films. Had all the kit on the outside (light effects, smoke, "outatime" plates etc) but was standard inside. It was on sale at a dealers for about £25k. There were Flux Capacitors for sale on ebay for £300 about two years, looked like very accurate models.

I think I am right in saying that a guy on here owns one of the TVR Tuscans in the film Swordfish with John Travolta & the divine Halle Berry.
