Who would make the perfect car?
Discussion
Firstly, this isn't a 'What's the best car in the world?' thread. The idea is, if you could use all the manufacturers in the world to make a perfect car, who would do what? Mine would go something like:
Engine- BMW/ Porsche, I can't decide which! And its petrol in my case as well.
Suspension- Lotus
I'll have Porsche brakes please!
I would have said Alfa can do all styling, interior and exterior, but after the Mito, I'll say Maserati.
Gearbox- Honda
Steering- Ford perhaps?
Oh, and Audi can market it...
What do you guys reckon?

No way. BMW would do the suspension, AMG would do the engine, Pininfarina would do the exterior, Audi would do the interior, Porsche would add the brakes and the endless options, and Lamborghini would add the booth babes.Engine- BMW/ Porsche, I can't decide which! And its petrol in my case as well.

Engine - Ferrari. I've not driven one, but they're normally aspirated with lots of cylinders, which is my usual choice
They sound lovely too.
Suspension- Lotus. I've never driven any car that even comes close to what Lotus can do with ride and handling.
Brakes - Porsche. I agree with the OP here. Porsche's brake pedals have the most amazing linearity and progression. No question at all in my mind who makes the best brakes
Styling - Pininfarina
Gearbox- Honda
Steering- Lotus (what made the OP suggest Ford?! Too much wine maybe?)
