As the years roll by I can't help thinking these are looking better and better. The low sleek lines, the purposeful stance. And in this colour, absolutely fab looking??

Am I mad and alone on this one??

They look fine....

.... until you see one parked next to a 308/328.

I like 'em, not as much as the 308GTB admittedly but they're nice.

Wish I'd bought one when they were £9K though.

I agree with 300, to the extent that they are the only ferrari i ever put a bid in for.

I also think the inside looks better than the 308 GTB, and that's what you see when you're driving...

Dark blue leather for me please.

I like them.

Nearly bought one for £11k about 9 years ago, but it was a mess of bad quality welding underneath, seems to have suffered a lot from tinworm. I bought a 911 instead.

Front is lovely, rear is nice, that side profile is shocking.

In summary, bit shonky looking but I would love to have it. Darker colour would help a lot I reckon.

You are not alone. cloud9

It was the first Ferrari I had a ride in. Chap I met at the pub took me for a spin in his Dad's - which he assured me he was allowed to. I only discovered that he was only 16 after the white knuckle test ride!

Slightly OT but that advert is terrible. Good pics but the text probably took all of 10 seconds to type.

I really like these for some reason! I think it's the episode of Top Gear where Hammond had one that sold it to me.

that wheeler dealers car is for sale I see. I cant recall the episode clearly aside from some clever bodywork by ed.. Was it pretty sorted at the end?

There was a time, long, long ago when these could be had for less than £4k. I very nearly bought one but like most Ferrari's of this era, they were a triumph of style over substance. A mate did buy one and race it. It would have been a terrific investment as shortly after anything classic became desirable and prices went north of £25k for a while.
