Twingo star in a fog of rental dross.

Apologies for the title, it seemed a good idea at the time. Every week I rent some bottom feeding dross from Europcar or whoever and by and large it’s been a pretty soulless experience. Usually they’re Corsas or occasionally Fiestas or Ibizas. This week’s offering was a Twingo Rip Curl 1.2. I have to say it is exactly what a small car should be. It really is loads of fun, so much so that I’ve been taking the long way back to the hotel each night. It’s not exactly refined and the ride’s choppy but I’d take it over the others in a heartbeat. I bet the Cup version’s a riot.

IMO it picks up where the old Ford KA left off. Anyone else tried one?
