I don't know what they're called, or how much they cost, but the OEM Volvo carpet mats my brother had in his S80 were some of the best fitting mats I've ever seen. They were designed like a tray and slotted in perfectly, seemed to last well too. I'd personally consider paying a main dealer premium for them.
for the love of god man, make sure they have some design/device for keeping them in place. i have to pull mine out from under the pedals twice a day. twice a day! and if i go for a hoon, on almost every straight. f
