Can someone recommend an online HPI check?

Hi all, I would like to do an HPI check on an impending car purchase, but looking online there are about 50 sites to choose from. None of them appears any more "official" than the others, is there one which is known to be reliable?

I've always used the RAC one. No idea if its really any different to the others, but it gives you all the right info.

Are you a member of the AA or RAC, or somesuch?

They might offer a discount, or a guarantee should something go wrong afterwards.

But ultimately, I'd plump for HPI themselves
