Please can someone give me a valuation...

Need a valuation on a mk1 punto. (Unrelated to the one I have posted about earlier today, all you eagle eyed PHers!)

Its a mk1 punto 1.1. MOT from April, no tax, scratched front wing but generally ok apart from that. Headgasket has gone.

Ive been offered it, but they want me to make an offer for price. I was thinking £200. I can do the work myself to get it ship shape.

Thoughts? Is 200 about right, or too high/low??

It's probably worth whatever the metal is worth as scrap, since it's well "beyond economical repair" in the conventional sense of the term.

If its a non runner offer to take a trailer round and take it off their hands for nowt. If it actually runs £50- £100

Not sure if its a runner to be honest.

It's my cousin's gf's car so I don't want to go to town on them, pricewise but also I know that whatever I offer will be at least what they would get from anywhere else and a whole lot less hassle.

Currently sitting at uncle's house 60 miles away so could feasibly do the headgasket there before driving the car home.
