Traveling through London is now a Pig, to be make things worse it seems that every motorcycle and scooter want to scratch your car and not be very friendly.

We all pay our road tax, and we all like motor transport - can we not be friends!

I actively drive with Motorbikes in mind / would be good if the favour could be returned!

Please don't lump motorcyclists in with scooter riders. Totally different breed smile

.....imo all two wheeled vehicles in London are problematic.....I hate driving in rush hour.....two eyes in the back of the head are just not enough.....and the lack of consideration they often show to other road users and pedestrians is sometimes hard to believe.

The same can be said of car drivers. At least on two wheels you can get somewhere in rush hour - or is that the source of your frustration?

Bad bikers, bad car drivers, bad van drivers and bad cyclists but to equal the balance we also have good bikers, good car drivers, good van drivers and good cyclists

I drive, cycle and ride a motorbike in London and you get as many good as bad.

Totally agree - scooter riders / cyclists have had no real training - at least anyone on a motorbike (without L plates!) has had to undergo training and pass one, if not two, practical tests.

Oh - I don't include motorbike couriers in that lot - totally insanse species!!!! wink

Totally agree, and I am in the same boat as you sir.

But drivers of cars and vans who think two-wheelers are the problem are mad... they are the solution. What is causing the congestion and frustration in London? Is it bikes and cycles? Nope.

All good points - Wish people would relax more on the road and appreciate each other a bit more - rather than squeezing past!

....no not all.....I am a professional driver and find it very frustrating having to cope with the often inconsiderate behaviour of the two wheeled brigade.....I am not saying all persons on two wheels are tts but certainly in my experience a high proportion are and don't give a stuff about any other road user.....and often seem to care very little about their own safety.

Is it that time of week again already?

Yes you get some tts on bikes, but go to London and there's millions of them in cars too. It doesn't excuse whatever wrong someone on two wheels did to prompt this and I wholeheartedly agree we should all get on, but it's silly putting your driver's hat on and issuing that plea to motorcyclists when they're an equally diverse group of individuals.
