I tend to take the more scienic route to work in the mornings to take in a few twistys, this is my favourite part....

The sun is shining and I'm heading down a busy/slow/dull A Road until I get to a little turning on the left that no one goes down. I've already put my windows all the way down in anticipation and I flip my left indicator on (yes BMW's do have them!).

As I turn left I'm at the brow of a hill and before me I can see the narrow lane winding down the hill between green fields. The important bit is I can see the whole road, in a glance I can see there is no other car on it! I put my foot down and the green banks start rushing past, the first corner is a third gear left and with a dab on the brake I slip it into 3rd and accelerate around the corner to a small straight leading into a 2nd gear right.

I can see the road is clear still and a bit of heavy braking and ease the car around the right. From here the road jinks right, left, right but again I can see the whole length if it so I can pretty much straight line these corners flat out. It's pretty heavily cambered so the car drops right/left/right and then I'm breaking heavily into a 3rd gear left and then into a 30 zone frown

From there on it's pretty sensible driving as I turn onto a busier road but that bit of country lane really makes me smile at 06:30 in the morning! biggrinbiggrin
