I don't know if there is anything that I can do in this situation other than sit back in horror everytime it happens but...

(Someone I know) Has been driving for a year and a half he is 25 and drives a company car which is a 1.8 I believe.

So far he has...

Crashed into a wall ripping off the front bumper(with his 11 year old brother in the back seat)

Mounted a kerb too fast and burst a tyre

Mounted a curb coming off a roundabout and bent the wheel altogether

Reversed into his own car causing some bad scrapes down the back drivers side

He has literally just called me to tell me he forgot to put the handbrake on and has just rolled into a lamp-post whilst on the phone and dented in the passenger side door and bumper.

This is not including countless altercations where he's cut people up, swerved about, generally been a prat, and near misses.

He has also had two speeding fines, but has some how managed to get away with not getting the points or fines for either(moved house and never heard anything since)

It literally infuriates me. He won't stay off the phone while driving, he listens to his music like a 17 year old who's just passed his test and speeds FAR too much all the time, accelerates like he's in a roadster and corners like he's in a impreza but he's not he's in a people carrier. I think that the point, lack of bravado in car makes him act like a twerp.

Not only is it dangerous, it's embarrassing. I can't get him to stop. I've tried. I've made him watch endless programs about people getting killed doing stupid things like he does. I've borderline thought about calling the BIB on him a few times.

How can I make him learn! Or am I just being a terrible boring nag!?

If it's a company car, anonymously report the vehicle reg to them and say you saw him driving in a dangerous manner, and let them rag the fk out of him?

They're the ones footing the bill every time he smashes it though? I can't get my head round why they still let him have it, the costs must be ridiculous by now!

Tell him you will divorce him if he doesn't calm down so we can read the inevitable 'mental' thread.

Or take the advise of someone more sensible.

Maybe if they had the suggestion that his driving was dangerous to others and the damage was just not the result of incompetent boobery they might stop turning a blind eye? I don't know what to say really, I've never been in your position before!

No, you are not being a nag, just showing concern for a friend.
What is his occupation?
How good is he at that?
What I'm getting at is, if he's good at his occupation, is to ask him to consider driving as another occupation and to try to be as good at that as he is in his work.
So, ask him, do good drivers exhibit the behaviour and outcomes his driving currently does?
Of course, perhaps he's st at his job, then I doubt he'd still have it.
Maybe he takes the pressure of his job into his driving, then you need to try to explain that driving isn't an extension of his job but best performed with a more chilled approach, chilled meaning not aggressive but considering.
