bit of a rant, anyone see tonights Police camera action on ITV? what a pile of crap.
speeding kills- it told us so, especially when its shown by american stolen cars being chased by police and then used to demonstrate that UK drivers occasionally speed which is dangerous.
what a waste of an hours programming. wasnt the presenter a celebrity ice skater or something? at least he might be ok at that. grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Yep, agree that it was total bullst

Also don't reckon he pressed the brake pedal as firmly as he could have done in the Corsa braking experiment

sensationalism at its absolute worst, thrown together with a story about an (admittedly) badly injured girl, whose injuries were caused by a reckless driver overtaking in a terrible spot.

Some of the driving on show was absolutely shocking, but there is no doubt the show has a heavy agenda. In particular one clip where they said "A momentary lapse of concentration can cause a major accident", but the clip they showed was a silver SUV driving on the hard shoulder, inside concetre barriers through building equipment before crashing and flipping over the barrier - I know this because I saw the same clip (with the real story attached to it) on CBS reality not more than a few weeks ago.

They also constantly blamed the Indian kid in the Range Rover crashing because he "tried overtake a car leaving a junction", but to me to me it looked more like him trying to swerve to avoid hitting it since he was going so fast. There is some shocking and incredibly dangerous driving on the program, but any sensible adult can see it's not always presented in an honest fashion.
