Yeah something like Lucozade sports does help me as does getting it out of my system (fingers down throat jobby) and a bit of exercise but not too much. I leave food till later on in the day then something with meat and bread does help. Mcdonalds can be good here I reckon.
Other than that a dark place and something to hold onto to stop everything from moving and just having the time to get over it.

Found out one night when I was too drunk/ill to get the toaster out.
Buttered three slices of bread and put them in the microwave for 30odd seconds. Didn't make the then-desired toast, but instead... well, soggyish bread. BUT, woke up the next morning feeling very nearly fine. Generally this seems to work for me

Water is a must to counter the dehydration, bananas are good for potassium. I'm normally too ill to eat anything so something sugary like Lucozade or coke would be good for the sugar until I get an appetite back. Other than that the only things that seem to work for me are anti sickness tablets to get rid of the nausea and co-codamol. I've been reliably informed by some of my mates that a bloody mary does work, although I'm not too sure. Tomato juice would likely make me be sick and the vodka, while giving some hair of the dog relief of the withdrawal will likely hit you harder later on.
