No real surprise given the engine and displacement.
A mate of mine has an E60 M5 and that thing astounds me every time I go out in it. It'll accelerate and pull from 100MPH like most cars do from 10MPH in first, and maintain that relentless surge, piling on speed, right up until the limiter.
Plus the soundtrack is better than the Audi V10.

That Porsche speedo must be pretty difficult to read. I usually just remember points along the speedo- 200k/h (120m/h) 250k/h (150m/h) 300k/h(180m/h)
This ZX10-R accelerates in MPH like those do in kmh
I counted 2 seconds between 160 & 170mph
