Honda Accord Tourer

Hi all,
I am going to look at a Honda Accord 2.4 Exucutive Tourer on Wednesday and was wondering if there is anything I should be looking out for?
It is a 2005 54 reg with 70k miles and is on for £5.5k
Are there any other cars that offer as much metal and kit for at the same age and money? Was origionally looking at Mazda 6 Sport estate and Subaru Legacy tourers! The German stuff seems much more expensive!

I had an Accord 2.4 Tourer Automatic. I loved it.
It had pretty poor economy for the performance (I averaged 24 mpg between Salisbury and Bristol very early one morning) available but it was solid and was a suprisingly good steer. The boot is huge too, and the one touch folding seats are very well designed.
The electric tailgate motor on mine gave up at 5 years and 50,000 miles (It`s quite common) but even though it was two years out of warranty Honda UK supplied the part and I paid the labour for the fitting which I thought was jolly good of them. I also had a sticking rear brake caliper which I got rebuilt by a specialist. The factory sat-nav is an Alpine unit which can be troublesome but they can be repaired reasonably cheaply.
If it has the 17 inch wheels they can tram-line quite badly on some tyres, I had Goodyear F1`s on mine for a while and it was dreadful on some motorways. A change to Continentals solved most of it.
I`d have another in a heart beat.
