Jewellery sellers on motorway H/S

For those who travel on the motorways around the Northwest and Northeast, be aware of vehicles stopped on the H/S of the motorways, especially on sliproads, with male IC4 type occupants trying to flag down passing cars. What they are doing is illegal, and are *on the radar* (so to speak) They will try to sell you some real tat jewellery if you do stop.

Someone tried to sell me a watch just off the M62 at Rochdale a few months back. He claimed to work for Mercedes and the watches were a gift when you bought a certain model. He then showed me a brochure of the car and one for the watches he had.

I told him his Lexus was a nice car and walked off.

fakes, stories are the same as the stories, "got these left over from an exhibition" if in the vicinity of the NEC for example. Just done a menswear show at a hotel, here are some of the samples....
