Things I would need to carry when driving in France

Hi,

We're off to France in the wife's Saab 9-3 in September - could anyone tell me which items we need to have with us (from a legal point of view), i.e. spare bulb kit, warning triangle, etc?

GB sticker unless it's on your plates already, bulb kit, high viz in the body of the car, triangle is all i can think of that moment.

Oh, and don't forget to get beam deflectors for your lights.

GB sticker /numberplate

Registration document
Passports!
Beam deflectors on headlights (fitted) - do at ferry / eurotunnel car park

Surprisingly Halfords have a useful leaflet detailing what you should and what you must have in each major Europena country.

Don't speed within 20 miles of channel ports, don't speed when coming up to toll booths (speed cameras), dont speed when you see a speed camera sign - French are very good and have warning signs telling you they are coming up - usually within 1/2 - 1 mile.

Have fun, get on the smaller back roads and go fast!
