Well how to avoid it actually...
Come on guys - recommend me some detector gear that warns of speed traps, radars, cameras, etc - oh and those bloody unmarked cars... I see LOADS of them at the side of the road, alternating brake lights flashing, having caught some poor sod... they must have some bloody RF signal that can be picked up??
Anyway - no 'obey the speed limits' replies please - I got the car to use it and I love it!!
So yeah, anyway, help me spend some money on trying to save my ass... otherwise I'll be on a bloody bicycle by Christmas!

ts'.Google 'Valentine one'. Ive found it to be good. If buying second hand get the serial No. and check on the website http://www.valentine1.com/ to ensure you have Euro mode and POP2.
It wont help you, the laser detectors tell you they have got you - not much help.
Jammers work, but they will figure it out after a while and nick you.
I suggest you either slow down a bit or keep a closer eye in your mirrors.
Unmarked traffic police cars are easy to spot - they might as well have a big sign on them saying police.

Valentine or pogo alert. Valentine is the daddy but pogo is very efficient. Sadly you cannot use a jammer if/when caught you will get raped by the system.
Detectors are allw ell and good but if it goes off normally they have got you though some of the better ones can and do pick up scatter which gives you a small chance to avoid capture.

And if your that worried about speed cameras to the point you are considering illegal devices(good place to ask on a site full of Bib) then you are obviously 'enjoying' your car in completely inappropriate places. Cameras tend to be set up up busy roads. Not the place mate.

Best piece of advice? Open your eyes. Good vision and observation works wonders. Some local knowledge of the roads you are hooning down will also help (e.g. do cameras frequent this stretch of road or not?).

just gives me an image of OP having been pulled over for speeding 'It's not my fault, my radar detector wasn't working'Suprisingly enough not speeding actually is a reasonably effective way of dodging speeding tickets. It's a secret though, don't tell anyone!

The only time I get stopped by the plod these days is at about 2/3/4am lol. I suggest just find some good backroads, Ive never seen the police speed gunning on a back road.Plus with those radars you get a specific type of error that comes back to the camera(atleast the one i was shown around on)
If i get that error im going to pull you anyway. May not get done for speeding but there are many other offences. So go buy a radar if you wish but it doesnt work.
