Auction prices

Now trying to reduce the motoring cost, she-who-must-be-obeyed wishes to change the 323i Touring for a Mini. I see that the post '07 ones get up to 50 mpg, but are the best part of £8K. Looking at the BCA site, BMW offload their ex-lease etc cars regularly through the auction network. However BCA tell me that they do not release the prices achieved. Where can I find these prices or roughly how much of a saving over a forecourt price is there, not that dealers make a huge mark-up - surely?
