RWD BMW (co car). Just hit 28,000 miles and the rears still have some life in them (Bridgestone Run flats all round).

Looksed at the fronts today and they are pretty worn on the outside edges.

Not enough sideways.

yup. Cant really sniff at 48mpg for 28,000 miles with no effort to drive economically (fuel card)....

The rears on my E90 are only 7000 miles old and are looking pretty worn, in fact I was quite surprised by how much!!

Interesting. Manual or Auto, and which engine?

A work colleague has a 320d auto and chews through tyres way quicker than I do.. (mine is manual).

The rears on my 328i only last about 5k, fronts are fine though. I blame the weather, rain makes me come over all sideways

Shocking behaviour!!

I beleive that I still hold the "record" with a lease company for a year's motoring in a Peugeot 206 1.6 xsi:

Two new sets of fronts
One set of rears (a fan of lift off over steer!)
One ECU
Two windscreens
Two sets of discs and pads to front
One set of discs and pads to rear
One gearbox rebuild

All with no accident damage and in 18,500 miles!!!!
