New Saab 9-5. Test drive?

Just wondering, as an old Saab hand, has anyone had a good look over/driven one of these yet?

I've often made the comment to friends in the trade that from the photos I've seen the inside especially looks very much like there are a lot of Insignia bits around. What's anyones thoughts on the drive & build quality compared to the Germans?

Slightly O/T but I only just clocked that this had been launched today.

Really pleased that Saab didn't go to the wall after the balls up that was GM.

saw one on the road about a month ago. may have been the godawful faded green colour but I wasn't impressed

I have, was very Impressed. Test Drove New 5 Series, E Class and A6 didn't like the A6, E Class got too expensive once I had added the Options I wanted on it. Considering a TTID Aero or 520d
I test drove a 2.0 Turbo Aero with Southampton Saab didn't Torque Steer Like I thought it Might was quiet and comfy and deceptivly fast - on several occasions I was going a lot faster than I thought.

It isn't the kind of car that Begs to be flung down a country Lane but as a slightly Sporty but very comfortable place to cruise around it takes some beating. The Dashboard Plastics are not as good as the BMW's although it is very Roomy and the Seats very nice.

I sat in the standard Linear which was a bit pony but the Aero (imo) Looks Fantastic.

There is some interesting Wheel Options Coming so I hear as well
