Polish SMART Says 'Tanks For The Memories'

Poland is the last place we'd expect to find a motorised homage to the once mighty German war machine, but life's full of little surprises. Or perhaps this military-style Smart is the work of a political satirist.

Either way, we've Polish website motofilm to thank for showing it to us. We're not sure if it's a fully working conversion, but the presence of a standard looking steering wheel suggests standard wheels and tyres probably lurk behind those tank tracks.

Which would still make it a pretty fab bodykit, so we can only hope the idea is being commercialised for general release - if not through official Mercedes-Benz channels, then at least via Halfords...

Thats not a sunroof it's a glass turret and as we all now you gain access to tanks via the turret hatch.
